HURRAH FOR THE QUEBEC MAYOR
Let's hear it for a Quebec mayor...
"PUT SOME PORK ON YOUR FORKâ€

A commercial promoting pork says: "PUT SOME PORK
ON YOUR FORKâ€

The MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CAFETERIA MENU and
EXPLAINS WHY:
Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal
suburb.

The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval has refused, and
the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why.

“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its
customs, its traditions, and its way of life, because that's where they chose
to immigrate.

“Muslims must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec.
“They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not
the Canadians who, so generously, welcomed them.

“Muslims must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic. Canada
accepted many immigrants before Muslims showed up (whereas the reverse is
not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).â€

“Just like othernations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity or
their culture.

“And, if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes
foreigners but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.
“Finally, they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its
Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in
the private domain.â€

The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.

“For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada,
there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them
under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with
Sharia.

“If you left your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because
you have considered that life is better in Canada than elsewhere. We
will not let you drag Canada down to the level of those 57 countries.â€

“Ask yourself this question - just once: “Why is it better here in Canada than where
you come from?†“A canteen with pork on the menu is part of the answer.â€
If you came to Canada with the idea that you will displace us with your prolific
propagation and eventually take over the country, you should pack up and go
back to the country you came from. We have no room here for you and your
ideology.

Real immigrants know that already. Just not muslims.

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Plus 10 to our Canadian brothers and sisters. Lets hope the 22 Muslims employed by this White House will agree and just assimilate into our culture asking the other 8 million here to do the same. (not a chance.)

And her.............

This letter was emailed as a letter to the editor of a paper in Florida, but they would not print it. It is worth a read.

Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why todays American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the U.S., people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground.

They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even change their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved goodbye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.

Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when WWII broke out. My father fought alongside men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from.

They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the USA as one people.

When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country.

Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here.

These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stir the melting pot into on Red, White and Blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.

I'm sorry that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life.

I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waiving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.
