Picked this up as a spare barrel but my .270 shoots so well I don't want to rebarrel it, so this one is surplus.

Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight barrel
Caliber: 30-06

No front or rear sight, some bluing loss throughout but the bore is clean, the rifling is strong and the action threads and extractor cut are crisp. Barrel is marked "56" on the underside indicating 1956 production.

Price is $60 shipped via USPS; payment by check or money order. Thanks.

Open to reasonable offers, keeping in mind it'll cost about $15 to ship.

Sure you don't need a spare? Could make a great light-weight 338-06 or 35 Whelen with a quick trip to JES reboring...

It would probably fit my 30-06 perfectly, but mine is like new. Also made in '56.... sick. I don't know if I'll need a spare in my lifetime...
