hey. us po' folk have po' ways...... Yep ! Hey, I've leaned my lesson. Watch out for the guy that throws an old rifle down on an old homemade denim pant sandbag. Those guys usually know how to shoot....
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

If you're NOT looking for fancy/style, I've been using a rolled up house CURTAIN. Use electrical tape to keep in a roll.
Soft enuff to nestle any rifle. If the curtain is too big (long) cut it off and START the roll up with the cut end. . If you can't afford SAND>>>>old curtains work.

Bulls Bag!
I've got all sorts of front rests including some high end bench rest models but the Bulls Bag is my favorite especially when sighting in thin barreled hunting rifles.
I have two heights of em and prefer the tall one designed for ARs even for my Kimber type rifles. This.

Sand is dirt cheap around here.... Not starting a 'tug O war' -- I've never paid ANYTHING for old curtains. Jerry

I use a bi-pod for load work on the bench. After the workup is done I pull the bi-pod and re-zero off sand bags.
Usually just a couple clicks, if any at all.

I don't use a bipod while hunting. If I get time to lay down, I shoot off my pack.
I hunt a fair bit. Do You?

A bipod and rear beanbag works for me. That's what I carry so it kind of makes sense. Fine-tuning seating depth on the 30-06,

Whatever you say Chief. If there is a front bag that allows less wobble with a narrow forend than a bipod, I have not seen it.

Usually just a couple clicks, if any at all. This ^^^^ guy said "After load work up is done I pull the bipod and confirm zero off sand bags".... My question do you shoot a 3 or 5 shot group to confirm zero? And I look forward to your hunting resume as well..

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.
