We are having chili cheese dogs with homemade chili, oven baked garlic/parmesan potato wedges, and a creamy coleslaw. Just plain old ice cream on a cone for dessert

Kinda like a summer ritual. Me too, and I gotta have a creamy sweet coleslaw. We usually do up dogs and chili on Labour Day weekend, but I will not be here, so tonight was a night everyone was going to be home.

We are having fried ham and potato salad.. We just had hot dogs the other day.. First I have had in years.. Very good.

Chili slaw dogs are the business.
Not even sure what we have defrosted.....probably some baked chicken and whatever else is in the cupboard. Maybe bean salad.
Friday night is going to be marinated albi steaks on the grill. Just seared and raw as fugg.
Sunday will be venison and scalloped potatoes.

Last night was a nice plate of shrimp sauteed in butter, garlic, and fresh cilantro with some mango hot sauce drizzled over the top and a big salad.
Tonight, it's a couple Chicago style hot dogs and some baked beans.

A salad with garden +tomatoes and cukes, a handful of prawns tossed in with Feta cheese. A dump of olive oil, both Balsamic and red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Done good to go eating light helping towards my week long elk hunt next month at 12K feet.
