thanks mate, but my gunsmith says there is no way to work with that bolt face (too large) receiver (too short) for a 6.5x55 build, really need a 270/30-06 reciever...been looking for months now, nothing anywhere...

Why don't you just order one from MRC.. Hell can even get a stainless one if you want one.
