Hose clamps would be a good addition to that list. I'd probably add a 3/8" ratchet and a set of SAE or Metric sockets (whichever applies) and some tie-wire, too.

A 6x8 poly tarp is handy when you need to kneel to change a tire or position a jack, especially when you're dressed up a bit. Doesn't take up much room and folds up pretty small.

On a highway, or wilderness trip? Around town?

In the truck, I will include:

a bag with cordless drill, saw, & various hand tools.

A long handle for a socket wrench will also make changing a truck tire easier.

long prybar

set of Allen wrenches english and metric

Tow strap

Big can of gasket maker in case you don't have experience in valve cover changing.
If you in So, OREGON you are in luck however cuz there is an expert or so I hear.

Highway and around town within 200 miles of house. Just something to help me limp home or to the next exit / parts store.

Cross country / wilderness trip would include a more substantial kit.
