Does anyone have a clue what barrel contour they use? I have an older jeweled bolt in 280 that I am going to re-barrel to AI, and I dont have a clue where to start.

I've got a Forbes take off sitting at home but don't know exactly what contour it is referred to as. If it was me, I'd start and end by sending it to Mr. Forbes. Choose the Douglas contour you want and he'll take care of the rest including fitting/bedding the barrel.

^ Melvin will put a Douglas #2 on it. It will be awesome. He just finished a colt light rifle with the complete Nula treatment for me. In 280 it's perfect and shoots better than it looks

The total faux nula springs, stock, barrel and all 1580$ counting shipping. I supplied the colt light rifle. Melvin is a true gentleman.
