Half-minute accuracy, while pleasant to observe, is in no way superior to one-minute accuracy in any serious rifle.

It depends on how much you value the scope and rings.
The rifle is worth about $450 to 525.00.

FWIW:

From the facts stated, I would offer $625 as a negotiation point and bet ready to pay the $700.

This is based upon the assumption that you want a steel receiver BLR in 358 (a heckuva nice hunting rifle).

A new 81' light-weight is less expensive, lighter, its mag doesnt extend below the receiver and is just as strong as the steel model, i would buy new and then put a set of Talley light-weight mounts on it with a low power scope like the Leupold ultra-light 2-1/2 X fixed scope........Oh wait thats exactly what i did <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> nice and light and shoots great.

I agree with Lee24's #'s. Value the rifle and then figure out what the scope is worth to you. I have the same rifle with a Leupold 1.5x5. Great shooter! I love mine, and started to reload for it this year using 200 grn Hornady spire points. Awesome rifle on deer and hogs. That said, I am not crazy about the non flush fitting magazine. If I could change one thing on the gun, it would be the magazine.

One other thing, if WANT it and do not come across them too often + or - 50 bucks is dick.

I think there is one for sale in the classified section.

I've noticed you buy rifles to resell. Don't think at that price there would be room for a profit for you. If you want the rifle to keep and hunt with I believe the price is fair. Byron

Cohiba, sorry I ofended you. That was not my intention. You do have quite a few rifles for sale and I honestly did not think you could even get your money back at that price. JMO, Regards, Byron PS as far as minding my own business, this is a puplic forum and you asked for opinions.
