I intened to use the Slick Trick this season but was unable to obtain any before the start of the season. I tried the G5 and it flew great from my bow. The Slick Tricks did show up in the mail after I got home from my recent hunt. I will try them in a couple of weeks on a hunt.
This buck was taken broadside at 25 yards.
I saw him opening morning but the morning breeze was swriling and it gave me up. The wind had been giving me fits. Well two weeks and another stand later we have success. He even checked out the old ground blind before coming in. He was aged at 9-1/2 years. He was limping hard when he came in this time. It appears he might of had his butt kicked lately.
The G5 worked great. Basic broadside shot, double lung, pass through. Shot was angled down on entry. I did not think I would get him. Luckily I finally got a steady south wind and all is well.
