I know they have become real scarce over the years but wondering if someone here could tell me who makes such a bow.
I did see the Hoyt Tribute is a finger shooter but may be hard to find.

Finger shooter , then get a Longbow

I have an Alpine Ridge Runner and a High Country compound bows.Both are about 39" to 40" axel to axel.I shoot fingers with those bows very well.If you get much shorter,it gets harder to shoot with fingers.I cannot even begin to shoot with a release.Just feels too unnatural and makes the bow feel too mechanical.Really takes away from the feel of what shooting a bow is really all about.Ipicked up my bows on Ebay for a real reasonable price.

I shot a Hoyt Protec for years. Decent speed and decent Axle to Axle. I wouldn't go below 38-39" due to string angle.

Do a search for posts by MontanaCreekHunter. IIRC he shot compounds with fingers and had recommendations.

My last was a Browning Ballistic Mirage. I can't shoot a release. Too many years of plucking the string.

I've been bowhunting for 40 years and shooting fingers carried over to the compound, when they came around. I still shoot traditionally equipment, as well as my compounds, but to be honest with you, there is no (legitimate) reason not to use a release on a modern compound. It's like having a 20# trigger on a target rifle.

Thanks for everyones comments. I shot traditional all my life and did a partial switch over 20 years ago. Shoulder won't accommodate a hunting weight recurve.
When finger shooting I developed a technique where I'd slowly release the index and ring and use the middle to hold the pin before letting it slide away.
I was very accurate.
I'll look around but I view the release as a strange object that isn't cheap, can break and can be lost. I can remember many pre-sunup mornings when some buddy was frantically looking for his release before we left camp.
Other than an elk hunt in Dec. I'm done for the season and can take my time.

Try the Scott Little Bitty Goose Wrist release. Hand or i should say finger never touches the release until you decide to pull the trigger
