I bought one and liked the idea, but there not suposed to be left out over night or in the rain or snow, I like to leave a blind out, they are a treated type of card board, if they were 20-30 bucks id use one but over a 100.00 around here. i took it back! I can buy a nice tent blind and brush it in for the money, for a quick set I use one of the camo umbeloras by Bat wing, flat on one side, just pop it open and your set! 24-26 bucks! just my though tho.ts

do u have a link to one of those umbrellas u mentioned?
You can get them at most sporting goods stores now sorry its a Buck wing not bat, they are sposed to be used as a umbrellas over your tree stand but also works on the ground.
My buddy has a Ghost blind and swears by it. No need to leave it out, it instantly blends in, and even when you know it's there it's really really tough to pick out

I have one and have only used it once and in hindsight I didn't put it in a very good spot (not enough cover in the background. That being said I had several deer come within 30 yds of me even with my marginal positioning. I got picked off by a mature buck while I was moving too much with my head above the panel. He didn't bolt though he just stared me down for a bit and then slowly walked away in plain view with a few rearward glances. I later made my first left-handed shot on a doe due to where she was stopped in relation to the shooting slots.
They are easy and quick to set up but remains to be seen how it will work in the wind.
very cool idea, but it's also dead calm in all the clips, looks bulky as hell to carry. cool idea for someone hunting in their backyard probably. I won't rush out and buy one. if someone gave me one I'd try it. I've been killing deer for a long time without one I guess. JMHO
Beware of any old man in a profession where one usually dies young.
I bought one on a big sale a couple years ago, didn't wait long to return it. Very long and not easy to carry. It might do well for someone else, but not for my hunting style
I dont get caught up in all the latest camo anymore. I have killed em while a campfire was going ,sitting on a red three wheeler, sitting in my truck, taking a dump(me not the deer !)etc. It doesn,t matter
So enlighten us as to how you go about hunting an area with no appreciable cover to conceal yourself in a more manly way since this has been deemed by you to exhibit extreme gayness.
Saw one of these in a big box store. Thought it was a great idea for a quick ground blind. Saw the price and had to walk away from it. I dont mind a person making a profit from an idea, but, this is a bit over the top.
I'm only responsible for what I say, not what you understand.

I guess you weren't wearing your mirrored hat, huh?
I used one last night. Took to the field with me, set up forty yards from tree line in an alfalfa field. Had 6 doe within 15-20 yards of me. They walked out of the woods and never paid attention to it. No real Ned to leave it out. I packed it into the field and carried it out with me.
