Thats for sure, I'll bet. Canebrakes like a wetter habitat than OK offers in most spots... Gorgeous snake, nonetheless!

Hopefully, the first of many to die by handgun this year (of various makes and caliber). This one thought he was 'hiding' under a cedar tree at 32 yds. 158 gr Speer JHP. I've switched to some 125 XTP and 110 Sierras to try for more 'splash'..
