How does it shoot? Good trigger? Does it feed? 22 magnum

I owned one of those years ago. Bought it at a show for $200, sold it a few years later for twice that. Kind of wish I had kept it. With super-x ammo it was 100% and shot as well as my MKII @ 25 yards but it would short stroke every round of CCI. This was after a trip back to the factory, initially it wouldn't cycle anything.

Any idea what they did at the factory?

This was over 20 years ago now, but I believe they just sent me a new gun. Do you have one of these pistols? I think I still have several front sight blades for it they sent me you could have.

I remember seeing a few pics of one converted to .17HMR when that cartridge first came out. Someone on a prairie dog shooting site jumped in and rebarreled one to HMR. Don't know how it worked after the conversion, but it sure sounded like it would be a fun gun.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

I just picked it up from my ffl today. They are a funny looking thing. I thank you for the offer of the sights, but I won't be shooting this one. I think its unfired, and I better keep it that way. Dang is it ugly

The grip and sights leave a lot to be desired. Don't know about the trigger.

IIRC, the trigger was not bad.

Had a Grendel many years ago. Almost every case would split, as the chamber had several raised striations. Running longitudinal with the chamber. I think it was striated to keep the brass from sticking in the chamber. I shot the hell out of it with every .22 mag I had . I would have kept it but could not find ammo that wouldn't split. Get a PMR 30 if you want a good .22mag semi. Almost as ugly.

My Grendel shoots the Super X ammo perfectly, but has issues with any of the other brands I have tried. The paperwork that came with the pistol recommends Super X.
