Fudd #2 sports an article from a communist rag and Fudd #1 shows pictures of a fireplace that has never had a log burned in it and we (the unwashed) are expected to hang on their every word...laffin' That fireplace will never have wood burned in it. Smoke wouldn't be good for all the high end gear, and since there are no windows I don't think it would meet code. It will have a gas log, my wife will be buying it. Besides, the house has four other fireplaces, so it's no big deal.

You should trust a doctors judgement, even outside his field of expertise if he has knowledge and experience on the topic. You really are full of yourself, aren't you. I would trust a doctor no more than anyone else. As a matter of fact, I know of a few instances within my immediate family when doctors couldn't even diagnose a medical condition. In on of those, a nurse pegged it where the doctor failed. I agree with Bob and Steelhead on the fly-fishing observation. It's just about the same as being a doctor. Being one means nothing in particular, but if you brag about being one, or think being one confers some special status, you're just a pompous ass.
