We dig a hole, in Pam's nice front lawn.

Fix a pressurized waterline that has been leaking water into the ground 8' down all summer.

Tzone, close your eyes... Don't look at our trench bracing.

We lived.

It's fixed and covered back up.

Thank god for good friends.

I could have used that low boy to take my date to the prom back in the day. If that was a 2 yard bucket, she could've used that in the buffet line. I was trying to do a buddy a favor...runnin' blocker.

Not hip to the new kids vernacular so I had to google the salad thing. Big mistake. I threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Got the boy up north right now for opening day of season in the am. 4:30am is going to come awfully early.

My goodness that's an ugly rig. I'm glad it made it there and back.

I have pics to as well..... More interesting jobs the last few days. Not that ND working under that ledge didn't give me the Jimmies.

I actually went and dug/pulled out my D65LGP after I left ND's. It was in a peat swamp and my 4WD tractor wouldn't even touch it with 100's of feet of rigging.

Popped it out just fine then of course I had to push the limits again (that's how I roll) to get the job done.

Back tomorrow to trim the project up then off to the next one.

Pics drive me nuts but some of you folks will enjoy them so I'll get them coming in a day or two.

I can run a flat shovel and can learn. grin

Not really much experience but I've run a few old school cable operated dozers my grandpa used to have and of course a skid steer. I can drive a dump truck.

We can discuss my salary over some Budweiser's and beer at chicknebuck in a few weeks.

What are you working on today?

We're waiting for the sun to come up here so we can see what we're doing. Flatwork today here.

driving to Hibbing today,to see my nephew get married.
per his request, made him a couple night stands to fit his gun safes( he is a LEO)
he thinks they are oak, stained chocolate brown, but I decided to skip a step, make them out of walnut.
we will see how long it takes him to figure out the difference.

I'm cleaning up some ditch banks with the dozer. Most of my jobs are ag related and this project was to fix some obvious drainage issues.

I have a couple quick jobs to knock-off on this afternoon & Sunday then back to cleaning ditches with the hoe.

That will keep me busy until there is 3-4" of frozen ground which is usually a week or so into Nov. After that it's back on the dozer to do some shearing and land clearing.

I stay pretty busy but it's worth it when the ice gets thick on the lake. No time clock to punch has it's benefits. smile

Am I the only on that wants a mount of a coyote with a house cat in its mouth?
