Nice.
Hope you guys get some rain on those plots. The birds are working on our seed as we haven't had any rain in a while. I planted a few days before an 80% chance and never got a drop.

No rain in the forecast either. We may just be overseeding with rye and fertilizer when this drought finally ends.
And to the OP, I'd be happy to see those bucks on my cameras too....
Now with even more aplomb

heading down shortly to go pick up a load of rye this afternoon. Had a bit of residual moisture in some of our more shaded plots, enough to get sparse germination, but after 2 weeks probably less than 1/3 of the seed has popped, and the birds have been feasting. some of the sheltered trails we seed as shooting lanes are doing OK, but the larger plots that get plenty of sunlight are bone-ass dry and not much going on, other than the turkeys & doves are getting fat on the seed buffet.

pulled cards again Saturday evening. a new 11 pointer showed up this week on 2 different nights...small sticker point off his left beam, between the G2 and G3... the 10 point in the first pix was back several nights, got better pix of him... food plots mostly all look meager, still not any rain to speak of.... one of the shooting lanes last year: same one this year: some of the plots that dont get as much direct sun are trying to grow a bit, but still sparse.

no growth, hoping we'll see some rain before muzzleloader season so things will green up, but not looking good.
