They are not cataloged, but Ruger did a run for Davidsons last winter. Several calibers, in standard length as well as the compact models with short stock and barrel. The standard stocks fit the compact guns as well.

I have a standard length, left-hand, ss .308 and it is super light and handy. Unless the youth model has a shorter stock, I would just buy the standard one. Mine shoots real good, too.
You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

Ken so Ruger did make a full size American in LH SS? What calibers and where are they. Would love a full size RA LH 7-08 SS.

Gunbroker.com has a few listed, they are about a hundred bucks more than the blued version on average. http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx?Keywords=ruger+american+left
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

KK, You are in luck. Looks like Davidsons has some of every model still.
Here is the complete list:
All stainless:
Compact (18" bbl, 12.5" LOP) #6941 .243 #6942 7mm-08 6940 .308
Standard stainless (22" barrel, standard LOP) #6933 22-250 #6935 .223 #6932 .243 #6930 .270 Win #6934 7mm-08 #6929 30-06 #6931 .308
For the compact ones, you can put a standard length stock on it (that's what I did with my .243). It would work the other way as well, but Ruger does not offer the compact stock as a spare part (some of their parts people don't even know about this run of guns for Davidsons. They don't catalog a compact left hand American yet.

I had to give them the item # from Davidson's for the LH compact for them to find it. It was not in their regular parts inventory list.

That could be. When I ordered a standard LH stock in Feb., they said it was the only one available.
