I have been wanting a new (to me) 22 mag.I have a Kodiak 260 but I've decided its not what I want.I've been looking for a Marlin 922 but this H&K 300 was on gun broker----I know several people who have one and swear by them-- so I went ahead and bought it.A former gunshop buddy of mine says he has several 15 round clips left from the shop--anyway I can't wait to try it out

If you don't want all of the mags, send me a pm with a note on what he wants for a couple.

I was at a very small gunshow this past weekend and stumbled across an HK 501 mount--FOR a SONG!

haved owned hundreds(?) of rifles in the last 43 yrs., and have owned the hk 270,300, 630 and 940 at one time...
i am thinking the the most accurate rifle i have ever owned was the hk 300..i dont remember what 3-9x scope was on it, but am pretty sure it was a cheapy in the hk factory mount and the ammo i shot was a winchester 40gr lead...3 shots at 50 yds equaled one hole that looked like it came out of a .243..dont think i ever had a jam in that gun either..
