I have some of the magnum primers. They seem to work ok with single base powder, like 4350,but I get hang fires with Reloader-22 in my 300 Win mag.So they seem to be a little cold.

I like the standard Large Rifle primers and use them in 22-250,.260rem, .308 ,30-06, 338-06, 6.5x284, 45-70. Bigger cases and ball powder I use a hotter primer.
