Those fish made you boys famous! I've had several people tell me about some fellas from SE catching tuna. I'm guessing you should get another shot at them next summer given the current weather/water patterns.

This one is legit. 40 miles out into the Gulf, 160 mile round trip. Was a fun day, but had to do it solo. Brother was in the dunes working!

Very cool Bill. I don't think I'll be running the Kelper 40 miles out though!

Very cool fish! Some years back a boat left Kodiak and commercially whacked a boatload and brought them back to Kodiak to sell. I suspect the run would be shorter this year.

Last time I talked to him he was continuing to ignore the whole situation.

The tuna bite is still pretty strong here in Southern California but I'd still rather be shooting halibut off the side of the boat! Congrats on the Albacore, variety is the spice of life.

I never would have guessed they would be that far inside, when I lived in Oregon you could bet on a 30 mile run offshore in late summer to catch them.
