Certainly someone can afford it more than me! Story goes Grandpa absolutely had to have one of these when Winchester came out with them, even though dollars were very large at the time... Twenty-five years ago I got to use it on a couple hunts, they're dandy rifles and this one is set up just right.

LOP is in the 13.5 - 13.75" range. I'm not near this rifle till Friday to measure for certain, but I know it feels normal (not too short, or too long). Someone committed sacrilege on this gun before I got it, and cut the stock for a recoil pad. It is a very nice install though. If it hadn't been cut, I would have priced it higher.

My Dad always regretted adding a recoil pad to his 71 deluxe as well. Free bump for a wonderful rifle complete with the original sling swivels too.
Leave the gun, take the canolis.
