Georgia opening day buck! #10586720 10/20/15

OP Buzz Campfire Regular Joined: May 2002 Posts: 1,585 Georgia	All of 25 minutes after legal shooting hours on opening morning I was lucky enough to get this guy. 9 scoring point, one abnormal (split brow tine that looks like a crab claw). Within 10 minutes after daylight, I'd already seen 5 doe and two bucks. As luck would have it I pulled the trail camera card the day before and found a nice sequence of this buck scrapping with a young guy. Even though it was 12 days earlier and in the evening I figured what the heck and it unfolded quickly. Happy Hunter! I realize on this forum it's against the rules not to give the rifle / load details as well! Gradous rifles - McMillan Compact in McWoody, 20" SS 1-11.25 5R Rock Creek Barrel in .308 Win, Remington 700 LH, Bolt fluted by Karl Kampfeld, Action Trued by Accurate Ordinance, Talley UL Rings, Swaro Z3 3x9x36mm. 165g Accubond / 45g Varget / Fed 210M primers.
