I have a line on a nice Firearm that I require a FFl dealer to accept for me from out of state. The close local shop has little comprehension of how to do this. I get a different story every time I talk to a different person there. Anyone with an FFL want to sort this out for me? I can have the gun sent to you and then I can pick it up from you. I'm in North Bend so if your on the east side so much the better. Thanks in advance. You can post here or Email me direct. jjhack@customosteo.com

JJHACK,

When I talked to my local dealer about the .22 Ruger he explained as follows:

An individual can ship to any ffl in any state by UPS.
The USPS requires ffl to ffl but that's not the law just USPS policy.

To be on the safe side the seller should get a copy of the ffl before shipping but to insure the gun actually goes to dealer.

Ffl to ffl will require the shipping ffl to have a copy of the receiving ffl license.

Norm
