There is an outstanding video version of America The Beautiful on youtube done by Ray Charles. Look for the version done at a live benefit concert for the blind (I think in Florida).

Somehow my keyboard gets very wet when I play it.

In the early 90s, I was out in California at a convention. A vendor of mine had a private venue at the Robert Mondavi Wine Center. Ray Charles was there with a 25 piece orchestra and put on a show for about 100 of us. I was up front and was so close I could touch his piano. He sang America the Beautiful, and Georgia, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.
