subtract the first two numbers in the serial number from 100 and that is the year. that works for Marlins not Winchesters. the 375 BB was introduced in 1978 and dropped in 1982 Affirmative

I have trouble hanging on to guns and many have come and gone in the last 50 or so years. this is one that I bought new in 1981 and have never even considered parting with. to me these are the cream of the crop for any 1894 Winchester post 1930.
somebody needs to buy this gem before I get myself in trouble.
