I know there's no shortage of Pre-64 Model 70 fans on here so I thought I'd share. Saw this posted in a Facebook group, asking $6500. No skin in the game and no idea if it's a good price, but I'd be happy to help anyone get in touch with the seller if interested. I copied the pics and can email them but have no idea how to add them here. Condition looks excellent to me, but I'm no expert. He does say that it's probably be fired less than 10x.

That's cheap for 458 esp a SG. I need only two calibers to complete the collection of all the std chambering's and they are a 300Wm and a 458.

All 458's were SG, they didn't make any P64 458's in standard grade. Curious what d you all consider the standard chamberings.

22 Hornet, 220 Swift, 243 Win, 250/3000 Sav, 257 R, 264 WM, 270 Win, 7MM Mauser, 300 Savage, 308 Win, 30-06, 300 H&H, 300 WM, 338 WM, 35 Rem, 358 Win, 375 H&H and the 458

Tee were the 18 standard production cartridges.

That 458 is a nice looking from the pictures but I'd want it in hand to inspect.

GSP you have quite a collection of calibers, very impressive! I was waiting for someone to say that the standards were 243, 270, 308 and 30/06 LOL!
