Friends-
I purchased a stock from U.S. Gunstocks on a very well known auction site. The stock is for a L.C. Smith Field Grade. Has anyone had any prior dealings with U.S. Gunstocks and I am considering letting them go ahead and inlet the stock for me.
Any information, positive and/or negative would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Mark

any chance you got a stock from Great American Gunstock from Yuba City in CA? I met the owner, Henry Pohl and visited them once years ago; Goggle Great American Gunstock reviews for more info.

Great American Gunstocks is no longer in business. They had a fire that destroyed much of the shop and I think that pretty much put an end to it. They had mixed reviews but I too had met the owner on several occasions over the last 20-years and found him a decent person to do business with. They were in Yuba City and I think US Gunstocks is in Marysville, which is just across the river. There are a lot of Walnuts grown in this part of the state and it is a good location for stock wood.
