Thinking about loading 180 gr Berger hybrid target or 168 hunting vld bullets In my tikka t3 7mm mag. Blued / synthetic Has anybody tried these ? Any issues with length in the magazine? Which shot better?

My brother's stainless T3 7 Rem Mag shoots the 180 grain HSM factory Berger load extremely well. No idea what their recipe is but it only clocks 2750 MV.

One caution. My 6.5x55 has a tapered throat. When I tried to seat bullets close to the rifing, even starting loads flattened primers. If you use one of those oal measurment tools, measure from the first resistance you feel.
