One is an early model with a brass bezel and comes in a two piece cardboard box. The other is a later model with aluminum bezel and comes in a plastic box complete with installation instructions and spade drill for drilling the hole in the stock. These while considered useful in their day, were the ruination of many fine older rifles that are today's collectibles.
