I've got a .454 pistol barrel and a 209x50, but I'd like to add a centerfire cartridge to my Encore family. Ideally, something I could use on whitetail that is fun to shoot. 257 Bob, 7mm-08, 260 Rem, etc... I've got rifles in 300 Wby Mag and 270 Win, so I'd like to avoid those. Let me know what you have. Bill,
Thought you may be interested in the 220 swift barrel I have for sale. It is the 26" heavy T/C barrel. It has been shot 6 times but I have a 22-250 and do not need this barrel since they are so close. It comes just like new with the box for $230 shipped. Here in Oklahoma the .22 caliber centerfire rounds are legal for whitetail and may I add very effective with the faster ones like the 220 swift, most drop like they were struck by lightening. As far a fun to shoot, flat shooting, light recoiling, varmint, plinking, whitetail caliber the fast .22 calibers are worth taking a look at. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Ryan
