The .30 cal accubond is not going away. Midway just need to sell some inventory to reduce their interest expense.

It can also help to reduce inventory by the end of the year.

I don't know how if it works the same way in sporting goods as in book publishing, but the IRS changed the rules on book inventory a few years ago. Formerly the cost for any new books printed could be written off as a straight business expense, but now you can't write off the expense until they're sold.

A lot of the "clearance" and "seconds" are overruns from factory ammo bullet runs. Almost every time i have bought seconds from them they have had a crimp ring on BT's and Accubonds. They work just fine. My BIL has killed probably 20 deer with Nosler "seconds" I've loaded for him.

That's funny. I believe about the only Nosler bullets I shoot are seconds and to date NONE have had a cannelure. I must be lucky.
