He qualifies... It's ok to be nervous. 5 shots and a wounded tool box may just take the cake. Too it off with an 11yo boy and his first buck....I understand your nerves.

If I remember correctly, there was a lot left last year.

True,it's to big for the contest, but in my defense, killing a spike in New Mexico is illegal. Regs say a visible fork. wink

OK....the Judge will take that into consideration....

The judge 'considers' better with Blantons.

Hint.

Oh whoa is me! :>(
No amount of booze is going to be bribable for this.
I am a miserable failure at shooting dinks- even our Canadian dinks can't cut the mustard.
PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong!!

That is not my normal everyday hunting hat, just my wintertime hat- it was a bit warm yesterday though!
This is my normal hunting hat- deer is a doe however, not a dink !

Rifle is a complete work up by Leeper.

Ruger No.3, Kipplinger single set trigger.
27" MaGowan barrel, half round half octagon with the Ruger quarter rib milled right in. Front sight is a barrel band Brno.
Chambered in .303 British.'s
NECG express sights in the rear.
Wood came from George Peterson at Treebone in New Mexico.
This rifle will put every bullet weight from 125 to 215's
Into a 3" group at 100 yards, but the 150's and 180's are really accurate .
Better pic of my Ruger

I just have a hard time finding a dink small enough to be a contender is this prestigious event! :>(
Oh, and you don't wanna forget your shades if I take my hat off - you would be blinded otherwise!!LOL!
