If it goes down that way it means the fix was in all along for Hillary. This is THE ONLY way to get Hillary elected. And it will - guaranteed. She is the worst (most unelectable) candidate the Dems have put up since Jimmy Carter's run for a 2nd term.

I think Trump has the potential to be a huge disaster for the country, but if the establishment Republicans force him into a 3rd party run the base's reaction the GOP will be YUGE. Lots of establishment types will go the way of Cantor/Boehner, though it will be too late for the country being stuck with Hillary for 8 years.

I don't see where "the fix is in". This ain't nothin' new. They've been trying to destroy Trump all along. So they're gonna spend even more money to try it some more. Big deal!
It's still too early to conclude anything. I heard Rush today say that the lasted Iowa poll has Cruz in second place now. And if Cruz pushes into the lead, I don't see Trump running 3rd party and screwing him over. I see Trump eventually endorsing him. And vice versa.
They're both enemies of the establishment.

Cruz has been groomed as the "anti-establishment alternative" to Trump by the establishment.
They'll be used by the milktoaster "nominate someone who can win" dried to divide & conquer Conservatives, then for the sake of his career Cruz will endorse whatever pachyderm felating dousche who makes the ticket.
And then we'll have Hilary.
The fix has ALWAYS been in; no genuine small government ANYONE is going to win the Presidency.
Both parties will see to that.
