I'm a fan of the 219, and have one in .22 Hornet and plans to build a stalking rifle on one in .32 S&W Long or something similar.

Ran across a nice condition Model 220 in 20 gauge today cheap. Will a 219 rifle barrel work on this action? It would make a nice start to having a rifle and shotgun combo.

Depends on which 219 it is, and which 220 (and some luck).

A "Plain" 220 or 220A should accept barrels from a 220 or 220A, although some fitting might be needed. A 220B, C, or D should accept barrels from those models of the 219, but may take some fitting--that's where the luck part comes in....
