Spent the week with my Dad down in Charleston and realized how lucky we were to still have him and my Mother at 79 years young. Especially, when he fell ill during the trip.

So sorry for your loss Kurt.

Godspeed healing to you and his extended family.

David

Far too many similarities. My father passed in late March from Parkinson's. Really sucks watching what that terrible disease does. My deepest condolences!!!

TN deer hunter,

I didn't post earlier because I was really upset when my dad died. Certainly it is good to know your dad is in a better place. Still, I give you my condolences.

I have had the privilege of meeting and calling some of you a friend but I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.
My dad was 78 yrs old and would have been 79 next month.

Thanks again to all of you here on the Campfire.
