Two weeks ago I placed my first order with Western and I have to say I am very pleased. I ordered some .38 150 gr. SWC and .44 250 gr. Keith-type SWC's.
They completed the order in a very timely fashion and the quality looks excellent. I will definitely be ordering more from them.

I've ordered from them before. Good prices, decent quality, but pretty slow on the service at times.
My last batch(44 Lyman/Keiths, last year)from them measured about 14 with an LBT tester if that matters to anyone. A little on the soft side for full tilt H110 loads.

I am loading them in my .44 Special in front of 8 grs. of Power Pistol.

I also bought cast bullets from them with mixed results. Most of the time they were good but, I also got them a bit under par. [not well lubed and some wrinkled] Maybe I am a bit "picky". I called to tell them the problem I had with the bullets and was told that he would send some more to replace the ones I had a problem with on my next order. Long story short, I don't think I want to order more without them making good on the bad ones first. This is not meant for bashing. I am just relating my experience.

In my case it was a batch of 452664 for the 45 colt. Showed 'sold' when I ordered them but it took a Paypal dispute to get them shipped. When finally received they were undersize and literally the worst shooting bullet I've ever used in a proven accurate revolver.
Too much bad juju, won't be ordering from them again. Again, not bashing but relating my experience.

I am loading them in my .44 Special in front of 8 grs. of Power Pistol. That would be a good load, have you used it before? I've only tried Power Pistol in the 45 Colt, same charge weight as Unique with a little more thump and accuracy on par. I only had to back off 1.5 grains with the H110 load in the 44 mag with the "soft" bullets and it behaved fine.
