I got this rifle from a neighbor 2 years ago, only shot it a handful of times a the range. shoots good, just don't need it. currently has a pine ridge 6-18 scope on it, I also have the other turrets for it for other bullet weights. might consider trade of kimber montana in .243 (I'll add cash to the deal of course) or a ruger m77 in .260. round count is less than 200. has a few handling marks and light marks on the barrel that could easily buff out I'd guess. I just don't need it. $675 shipped without the scope. $50 more with scope. PM with any offers. first Public "I'll take it" trumps PM's

I've got the same exact rifle, it stays with me all the time in the farm truck floorboards or propped up in the cab of the tractor. I'd hate to guess how many animals I've killed with that little thing.
Best of luck with the sale.

thank you sir!
forgot to add, the trigger has been tuned by a gunsmith. it breaks cleanly with no creep at around 2 lbs. I don't have a scale to get an exact trigger pull.

It's a MKII so it should be a 1 in 12 twist rate...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

You are mistaken. Yours is not a Hawkeye. Like I said, it is a MKII...

if it is a MK2 and not a Hawkeye then it's a 1:10" twist according to here. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/70490

Nice rifle, I have it's twin.
FWIW, mine is a 1-12" according to customer support at Ruger. Mine was a first or second year of production rifle.
4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.
