The question is if both measurements, the linear distance and the equivalent horizontal range appear simoultaneously on the screen when you take a measurement.

Or if you have to choose between seeing one or seein the other.

Does the same apply to their new HD-R 402 & 403?

The linear distance appears first then after a couple seconds the equivalent horizontal range appears.............

You can choose to have the EHR on or off....

Just referring to the 1000-R.

I wanted to be sure before ordering.

In the case of the binos I asked out of curiosity.

The EHR function doesn't work beyond 500 yards even though it will range over 1,000yards consistently. Leica must think if you are shooting things that far you should be able todo the math yourself.
