I remember the
CZ-75 pistols were often compared to the legendary Sig P-210 pistol, perhaps because the slide
rides inside of the frame rails rather than the outside, as most semi-auto pistols do.
Also the CZ-75 was oft compared to the Browning Hi-Power because of its superior ergonomics.
I also like the old-school all steel construction of the CZ full-size pistols.
Todays CZ 75B - is so designated as the 'B' indicates a firing pin block (Internal firing pin safety.)
The CZ 75 BD - indicates firing pin block and decocker feature.
The CZ 85 B - is the ambidextrous-controls version of the CZ 75 series of pistols.
I would recommend the
CZ-85 COMBAT which is the most similar CZ model to the original CZ-75 Pistol + the addition of:
Fully adjustable rear sight.
Extended Mag release and drop-free Magazine.
Over-travel adjustment on trigger.
A manual safety and
no firing pin safety, which improves
the guns' accuracy in the trigger-pull department.
A lot of CZ 75 shooters seem to overlook or are unaware of the CZ 85 Combat model and its advantages.
The CZ 85 Combat is the 1st CZ pistol I ever purchased.
