Rifle is a 6 digit New Haven classic CRF.
Has been professionally bedded into a McMillan compact Edge stock.
Factory barrel rechambered by Gene Simillion, who also cleaned up the rails, etc for proper feeding. Gene cut the chamber using Dobers reamer.
Throated for the 160 Nosler Partition seated to the base of the neck, IIRC will accept an OAL of 3.600.
I have superbly accurate rifles in 7mm Dakota and 7 Rem Mag that make this redundant.

The significance there isn't whether its 6 digit, but rather whether the G serial number is under 200,000. They changed the way they made the bolt shroud with 200,001!!

Two piece bottom metal.
Rifle weighs 8lb 4oz with Talley LW and a Leupold 3.5-10 mounted.
Rings and scope are not included.

Never shot it. The Dakota and the Remmy are both superbly accurate, so they stay.

Winchester 70 classic stainless (New Haven) in .308 or .243
Pre-64 Winchester 70 Featherweight, in .270 or .30-06.
Kimber Montana in 7mm-08.
Leupold VX6 2-12 (#111979) or 3-18 (#115003).
Swarovski Z5 3.5-18 BT, newer scope with thicker reticle.
