Used it once, couldn't get past the smell of it indoors.

That stink is, of course, the famous Eley priming. I don't care for it myself, but the results outweigh my distaste. I have a trap in my basement, but decided that without a high-powered ventilation system, I was courting trouble by breathing the lead.
The Aguila Rifle Match has performed very well in my last two rifles, a CZ 453, and my current 77/22 RSI. It essentially equals the accuracy (and POI) of the RWS SSHP I hunt with. In the 453. It averaged under 1/2" at 50 yards for 5 shots, with some going in the 3's. The RSI is not as accurate, but a lot cuter, and shoots minute of squirrel, roughly 3/4" with the Aguila and the RWS. The Aguila is considerably cheaper, so I use it for practice when I have it. CCI Quiet .22 40gr is my backup practice ammo and hits just a trifle lower at 50.
.22s are pretty fickle, but I think that the Aguila is certainly worth a try, if you can find it.
What fresh Hell is this?

I tried a box of it in my M52A Winchester and it shot as well as a recent lot of Federal Match- ½"± @ 50yds- but not as well as my ancient lot of Federal Gold Ultra Match or Eley 10X (3/8" and less @ 50).

I still have 108 bricks of the old (1998 eara) Federal Gold Metal Ultra Match white and blue box 711a ammo. It proven to be one hole shooters at 50 yards in all most all (19) Winchester 52's I have and 40x, 581 and Sako Finnfire. Love this ammo, I was just out the other day with the Sako, I have a Leupold 6.5x20 on it and I can watch the bullet fly into the same hole at 50 yards. Sold off 80 bricks of my old 711 target but still have alot left but would never sell off any of my old ultra match for any price, they don't make it like hat any more, bought a box of the new federal match and that's not any better than my old 711 target ammo and I paid $5.00 a brick for it in 1998.
