Anyone know what a model 70 ultimate shadow 3006 or 300wsm placed in a mcmillan edge weighs? No scope or rings, just bare rifle.

Or maybe someone at least knows the difference between the edge and US stocks?

Stock Model 70 Ultimate Shadow 30/06 is 6.75 rifle alone. My Ultimate Shadow gained a full pound with a Boyd Stock in Grey Laminate. The McMillan Edge will add more I believe. I have seen the stock you ask about but neither I or anyone I know has made that switch.

The Edge stock will be about 1/2 lb LIGHTER than factory, not heavier. You should be 6.25ish with a bare rifle.

This is a Classic, not the Ultimate Shadow, but they will be about the same. The US already comes with aluminum bottom metal which should be close to the same weight as my PT&G bottom metal.

A 30-06 is on a long action and will be a few oz heavier, both have 24" barrels.

Edge stock
Talley lightweight mounts
Leupold VX-2 3-9X40
PT&G alumimum bottom metal
7.5 lbs as pictured

I think it is the Classic or Compact Classic. I didn't custom order it. I caught some on sale and in stock here a couple of years ago. Got it in a week instead of 5 months and a bit cheaper than ordering custom. At least at the time, I paid under $600 for mine.

They don't give exact details, but I ordered the stock in the link.
