I'm spending the next week in the piedmont area and might have time to stop in a shop or two. I'll be hanging in Salisbury and then Patrick Co Va/Mt Airy N.C. Any good shops to hit? Especially ones with a decent used selection? Thanks.

The Aisle Pawn Shop in downtown Mooresville (talk to owner - Bob) and Hyatt's Gun Shop in Charlotte. Both usually have a good selection of used guns. Don't let the tag prices scare you - they like to start at MSRP / high but will definitely negotiate.

Reliable Pawn in Salisbury, The Aisle in Mooresville (ridiculously high prices but great selection and I've heard they will negotiate), City Pawn in Statesville isn't bad either.

You will love The Aisle Pawn Shop, and they do negotiate. I think Bob likes that part if the business. Also, Lake Norman Sporting Arms, The Fallout Shelter, Hal's Gun & Pawn, and Ideal Sportsmen are some others to try. Mooresville has a Gander Mountain as well.

You can find some interesting stuff at Cerberus, in Salisbury, from time to time. The owner is a super nice guy.

Eagle Guns on the south side of a Concord has a super selection of new and used guns. Folks down there are a bit different though.
