I just had one delivered, just stuck it in the safe, waiting for a rifle deal to come up. I think there are seven or eight new scopes waiting with this one.

I feel your pain. I'm constantly buying scopes for guns I don't have yet, mostly out of production models that I have an affinity for. I just ordered five of the Minox, but four are for co-workers...

Would this scope work well for a ruger 10\22?
any reason not to use on this rifle?

I just got it in the mail. very clear view.
I think it might be little too big for 10/22 and cross hairs are a little thick. For $100 its a steal and you wont loose $ if you decide to sell it.
At the same time I might put it on my 22 bolt action.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I see no reason it would not be good for you

The 100 yd parallax setting may not be the best for anything under 50 yds but lots of folks make do despite that. For the money it seems to be nice glass with a good warranty. I have a ZA3 on a light 30-06 and it's been great in the 2 years I've had it but I've only ran about 80 rds through that gun with the Minox as it's strictly a hunting rifle.

I didn't know that much about Minox scopes, so I did a little searching. They seem to be very well thought of.

Got mine today. I agree with Dre completely. Nicest scope I've ever owned for that price.

I've got 4 new scopes waiting to play musical chairs with rifles. Couldn't pass on the recent Redfield deal from Doug either. Going to upgrade a few, and replace a few I'm moving to upcoming winter projects.

I've only owned bins before this scope. I've been very impressed with their glass. So far my opinion is that the performance exceeds the cost of their optics. High value.

One last question. I have a bushnell banner trophy 4 x 32 on my muzzle loader. Would I be better served moving this to the 10/22 and putting the minox on the muzzle loader? thoughts for or against?

That may be a good move. Myself, I wouldn't mind the Minox on my 10/22. I have a Vortex on my 10/22 currently.
