I recently bought a 7mm Remington magnum rifle and was wondering if someone could recommend some loads that I could use for deer and elk

73.0 gr of retumbo fed 215 with 160gr accubond

72.5 gr. Ramshot Magnum, 150 gr. E-Tip. Worked great in Africa from a 150# Wartie to Beest up to an 1800# Eland.

I never found the 7mag hard to load for.I have a hard time getting past Reloader-22.I've used it for eight years and I've used it for all my loads.139-140gr bullets are loaded with 69.5grs.150gr bullets are loaded with 67.5 grains.160gr bullets are loaded with 66.0grs and 175gr bullets are loaded with 63.0grs,all loads were primed with Winchester magnum primers.I've tested these loads in four different 7mags and all of them shot well.

67 grains of H1000, CCI mag primer and a 180 scenar seems to kill them okay.

seating depth moved around accordingly. I've settled on 3.4" which the magazine length defines.

In my rifles these loads are just below 3000 fps.

160 Partitions over Re25 or Re33. If you like 140-grainers, then Partitions or Abs over Re22 or IMR7828 will give you all that you want.

My 160 loads are just over 3000 fps from my 26-inch barrels. My 140s are loaded down to around 3100 fps.

Put An Apache after market barrel on a Savage 110. During break in, tried H4831 and IMR 7977 with both 140 and 150 gr Sierra bullets.. The IMR 7977 Was the best. The copper fouling eliminating feature which sold me. 7977 seems to be in the correct burn rate range for this caliber.

IMR 4350 and 150 Partition, RE 26 and 150 or 160 Partition, Remington Brass, CCI 250 or Fed 215 primer, back off a bit with Federal brass

I use 175 partitions and the horn 175 sp with Retumbo, RL 22 and dabbled with H4831 also... Ignition via CCI 250.

I like the results of the classic heavy bullet in the 7 mag, accurate, fast, flat. Expands on 30 lb coyotes very well to going head on with shoulder joints, spine and other heavy bone in elk to more often than not with a partition, exit the animal.

I used to use the Re22 and the 175 Partitions and Interlocks. My load hit virtually the same with both bullets, so I shot targets and deer with the Interlock and elk with the Parition. It was a great combo. I have since switched to the 160 Partition and never looked back. Re 33 is great with the 175, also, and provides better velocity.

I have some IMR 4350 and Sierra 160 grain spitzer I have had several ppl message me this load is this a proven load

For my hunting in open country, I like 140 Accubonds and a good charge of Re22.

Working up to 66g-66.5g of RL22 has worked very well for me with 160 AB's and partitions.

70 gr of RL25 with 150 BT,and 69.5 gr with 162 Amax are both shooting very well in my new rifle. WW brass and Fed 215 primer.

IMR 4350 AND 4831 BOTH GOOD. I have been loading for 7 mag a long time and it seems most rifles shoot more accurate getting close to max loads instead of in between with whatever kind of powder.
