I've never shot any JLK bullets, looking for information on game performance compared to Berger's and Scenars in general. Any 1st hand information on the 168JLK's in specific, particularly when pushed at moderate (2750 fps) velocities would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

I have shot 1000's of 168 jlk's. 1000's of 180's also. Basically the same as Berger hunting VLD's in my opinion. 168s started at 3000 fps and 180's near 3050. A great bullet for hunting in my opinion.

Can't speak for the 7mm variety but the 6.5 130 performs very well on deer sized game as a hunting bullet. 130gr JLK started at 3150 at 640 yds shoulder exit wound.

I'm driving them at 3200 fps from an STW and have taken 4 critters at 100, 250, 250, and 450 yds. All shoulder hits on deer and antelope but no major bone hit. All exit wounds were about the size of a silver dollar and only one critter ran, the heart shot one. Chest cavity nicely traumatized on all. I've been impressed with that bullet so far.
