Hey Bman I thought of you the other day. I was in Scheels in Fargo and at the top of the stairs/escalators there is a room full of outdoorsy art/craft type stuff.
In there was a really cool (and beautiful) round painting of two Rooster Pheasants with lettering that says "Welcome to our Roost." I snapped a pic to show you but my photobucket is extremely hosed up so can't get it on here.

Just thought it would be cool for your "Roost"/mancave

Rooster, I will shoot you a PM.
We got the 10 pointer. Big is an understatement. He will go over 160" I believe. He was in bad shape. I have pics on my phone but can't get my photobucket to work from here. Also cool, it was a first deer for someone!
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

My daughter gave me a red and black plaid flannel shirt yesterday that literally brought me to tears. Dad always wore an old Woolrich red and black plaid hunting coat, and the same pattern in his flannel shirts too. The classic hunting outerwear.
I haven't put on a plaid in years, and it sure brought back the memories. She had no idea what this simple gesture meant to me. Next fall, I'll be wearing it with pride during deer season.
I hope eveyone has a great Christmas.

Holy cow, been crazy busy. I hope Santa brought everybody something nice.
Last Tuesday got to take the little man to his first Wild game against Montreal. We went with his whole hockey team,pretty exciting after the game the kids got to go into the Wild locker room got some pics and autographs.Pretty awesome something the kids will remember for a long time.
Now that the holidays are starting to wrap up. Its time for some ice fishing. Looks like next week might be some good ice making weather. Still have 2 big pockets of open water on my lake. GRRRRR

Mama got me a couple new Woolrich shirts, very nice. Nathan got me an ice fishing rattle reel. The kind I like, wood spool, dowel spindles, jingle bell in the tumbler. Taylor got me 3 rolls of Obama toilet paper.
