30 years ago that was the rallying cry of the liberals. Whatever happened to them ? Did they stop making them or has the economy priced them out of that terminology. A Jennings is still POS but not nobody says anything about them. What happened to the old ones already out in the public.? Broke? Rusted out? LOl

Hi-Point is the new age Saturday Night Special. Every episode of Cops I watch where a black gets arrested with a gun, they are packing a Hi-Point pistol.

This rests beneath my truck seat. I pull it out occasionally and shoot it, it goes BANG! with my load (hardball, hollow-point, hardball, hollow-point, etc.)

This is my second carry piece in my truck cab, it goes BANG!, too:

I think I'm covered for 'Saturday Night' and the other 6 days of the week....

You need to ditch that AMT Back-up! Both of the ones I had years ago were jam-a-matics ! I'd take that money and buy either a Ruger LCP, if you wanted to stay with a .380, or better yet, a LC9, in 9mm. Neither jam, and you still haven't lost much if they get stole out of your truck.

I have one of these NAA Guardian 380's. It's heavy for it's size (solid steel) and it has the worst trigger I've ever shot. It's at least 10 lb and I can't possibly hold it on target while I pull it. This is one that could really use a striker. It's a max 5 yd gun.
I keep it in my pickup door pocket.

I bought a Guardian about a year ago and only shot it a few times. It sucked. Terrible trigger. Heavy recoil.

I don't know why anybody would put a Guardian, AMT or Walther on here as a Saturday Night Special. None of them are/were particularly cheap.

A SNS is a cheap gun. Some of them were decent guns, but they were cheap.

Kel-Tec is a great example of a current-day SNS. Cheap and a POS.

I've got one in .45, never has jammed. Great trigger? no.

I bought my wife a brand spankin new LCP for Christmas, my cost was $175. Tough to settle for pot metal garbage when a decent reliable pocket auto like the LCP can be had for the same money.

RG revolvers were also regarded as 'Saturday Night Specials' back in the day.

That's a good roundup of some purty pistols!
