I was kind of embarrassed to show my meager collection here. But hell, there ain't nothin going on around here tonight anyway. Just crap on TV. I went for several years with a lonely SBH in 41 mag and thought life was good. Then I met RJM, and he persuaded me of the wisdom in owning a DA. Preferably with initials S & W. So I eventually found this 657-3 in a local gun shop. But I dearly wanted a 4 inch barrel. Then a few months later, Bob let me know of this Taurus for sale just a few miles from my house, from another fine 'Fire member. And eventually Bob took pity on me and allowed me to buy, from him, this fine 657-4 MG. I added the rosewood grips by Altamont. I take sole responsibility for this little SP-101 in 327. I drooled over the SP-101 from the introduction of the first 327. But I just could not see handicapping such a fine little cartridge with a three inch barrel. As soon as I heard of the four inch SP-101, I called my LGS and ordered one. People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.

The one that has been to Mag-Na-Port is supposedly a Lew Horton Special but I have not checked with them yet... The other has a second cylinder rechamber anbd cut for moon clips for .38 Super and 9mm... If you can not deal with reality, reality will deal with you....
