We still have until Saturday with the smoke poles. Then next Friday and Saturday we get to use real guns. After that, we're back to bow for the rest of January. All of the bucks generally loose their horns around the first week in January where I hunt, so after that you've got to be careful not to shoot a buck.

I know this is way too big, but here it is anyway.

Alright, how about this sweet deal for the judge........3 bottles of MD 20/20, a case of Schlitz Malt Liquor, and for the icing on the cake, I'll throw in a half of a bottle of cheap champagne left over from New Years Eve.

My wifes daughter just bought me some soapstone " ice cubes" that you freeze and put in your whiskey to chill it. They don't melt so no water gets in the mix. Thought of you when i saw them....


Then thought....nooooo...he will have some manner of critique for them..



So I threw them out, iced down my Blantons and mixed it with RC Cola!

For 45 years I always thought "over ice" meant drinking in a fishing shanty.

You got it right. It's the chill that ruins whiskey, not a little dilution.

I knew you would say that...if its like Brandy, the warmth from the hand enhances the bouquet and the flavor.
